What I Do

Sustainable health and performance for athletes

Through DrKellieRose Performance Science, my mission is to create and deliver sustainable long-term health and performance programs for individual athletes, clubs and high performance sports organizations globally.

At DrKellieRose Performance Science, the underpinning belief is that athlete health should not be compromised in the pursuit of performance, and that with the targeted application of evidence-based epigenetic science and proven practical strategies, we can create supportive environments that nurture athlete talent, protect health, foster performance longevity, and breed success.

How I Can Help

Personalised scientific support and innovative strategies customised to your needs, for greater performance impact

As a performance scientist, my focus is on developing and delivering cutting-edge scientific services that support aspiring athletes to achieve their highest goals. My specialty is working with injured and burnt out triathletes, who know they have the potential to perform better, but feel like giving up. With a holistic approach to performance, I cover all the bases – mindset, health protection, training optimization and performance maximization. Read More

Who I Am

Inspiring, empowering, and coaching you to reach your full potential

I am passionate about optimizing the health of athletes to improve their enjoyment of their sport and promote performance longevity. My specific interest is working with endurance athletes – especially triathletes – who have the potential to perform, but are hindered by injury, burnout or lifestyle imbalances that strips away their motivation and cripples their ability to perform. Using a holistic approach to athlete health and development and applying it in a personalized manner, I help athletes solve their challenges, by equipping them with the skills and strategies to get their training back on track, and start achieving their performance goals over the long-term.

I also enjoy working with clubs and sporting organizations who share my ambition of creating environments that promote athlete health and performance sustainability.

Whether it is working directly with athletes or collaborating with organizations, my intention is the same – to maximize performance potential, using the evidence-based theory and practice from elite sport and the principles of epigenetics for optimal health and well-being. Read More

LATEST BLOG: Reflections, Lessons, and Insights from 2017 2017 was one of the most interesting yet challenging years for me to date, representing a sharp learning curve and exponential personal and professional growth. A couple of weeks ago, I came across my list of learnings that I'd captured in my journal during this crazy period, and this is what I found... . Link in bio! 👆🏻
Making friends with water running! Thanks to a recurrence of sciatica pain and a few subsequent failed attempts at running, I’ve resigned myself to the healthier alternative. Water running is a good way to maintain aerobic fitness without the impact of running on land when you’re injured. It’s also important to be aware of your technique in the water, to try and simulate normal running movement as much as possible, rather than just doing ‘high knee’ exercises which has no relevance. Also, try and limit the upper body forward lean to a degree similar to land running (rather than being parallel with the water line!). Thankfully the sun is shining for me today! . . . #triathlon #trilife #swimbikerun #triathlontraining #waterrunning #triathlete #recovery #rehab #trainsmart #performance

Welcoming the newest addition to the family! So excited for my first ride this morning, rolling round the riverloop with @frysie27 🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏻‍♀️ a few adjustments and she’ll be perfect! No name for it yet though - any suggestions?! #bikenumber4 #bikeaddiction #bikefamily #triathlon #swimbikerun #cyclinglove #bikesarelikechildren
I’m so grateful to this awesome woman, my mama @anniepeschek, for always living such a healthy and active life and teaching us the benefits when we were young. I remember following her around everywhere as a young kid, and joining in to play touch football, aerobics and going running and walking together. Not only was it family time, it sparked my life-long love of sport. Not everything has to be a tough training session, sometimes it’s just nice to enjoy being active. Good chats and great company this morning, thanks mama and sissy @sarah.peschek! ❤️ #healthyliving #healthylife #exercise #exerciseismedicine #happiness #familytime
